Israel Katz, ⁠Tel Aviv’s defence minister, has said Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim ‌Qassem was now a “target for elimination”, reports Al-Jazeera.

This follows Israeli jets bombing Lebanon, resulting in the death of at least 31 people, after Hezbollah launched what it said was a rocket and drone attack against a military base near Haifa, in northern Israel, in retaliation for the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
