Russia’s embassy in Israel has called for its citizens to leave the country given “the sharp deterioration in the security situation” following the US and Israeli strikes on Iran.

“We recommend that those who are able to do so leave Israel until the situation returns to normal,” the embassy said in a statement on Telegram, calling on Russians remaining in the country to be “vigilant” and to follow the security instructions of the Israeli authorities.
