LAHORE, June 18:The Punjab government mulls a body on the pattern of Food and Drug Enforcement Agency (FDEA) to check adulteration and marketing of spurious drugs.

Health Minister Dr Tahir Ali Javed told APP that complaints against adulteration in eatables and marketing of expired packed food were rampant.

He said the proposed body would also be authorised to check expired food items and drugs. —APP
