GUJRANWALA, June 18: Power supply to a vast area remained suspended for two hours when a 132kv transformer of 220kv Gakkhar grid station was burnt on Sunday for being overloaded.
As a result power supply from 13 feeders, feeding Gakkhar and nearby towns and villages, remained suspended for two hours.
Gujranwala Electric Power Company teams reached the spot and restored the power supply after repairing the transformer at an emergency basis.
APPROVAL: The Punjab chief minister has given an approval for the construction of roads and laying of sewers in 15 villages of Naushera Virkan besides repairing all state-run educational institutions.
