Islamabad airport divestment

ISLAMABAD: The Privatisation Commission board on Wednesday constituted a Negotiation Committee to engage with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to discuss terms of a potential Financial Advisory Services Agreement for the proposed divestment of Islamabad International Airport.

The committee will undertake negotiations and submit recommendations to the board for approval. The transaction involves outsourcing airport operations under a concession model through an open and competitive process.

The board also approved the commission’s audited financial statements for 2024-25 and reaffirmed its commitment to transparent and competitive privatisation transactions.
