Over 2: Pakistan lose Saim, skipper Salman’s wickets as Bumrah strikes early

Saim Ayub tried to start with a flyer, only managing to get a thick top edge and the ball flying for a six.

The next ball was a yorker by India’s ace pacer Bumrah, who caught Saim before the wickets. The umpire gave it out with no hesitation. Pakistan’s review also came back in India’s favour.

Pakistan have now lost both their star batsmen.

Babar Azam walked in and cut the ball over the gully fielder, only to be cut off at the ropes by a diving Rinku Singh.

Babar took a single off the next delivery, before skipper Agha struck a four towards the leg side.

He looked to repeat the treatment, only ending up hitting the ball into the air for a soft dismissal.

Pakistan are 13 for 3 at this stage.
