PESHAWAR, June 16: University students taking part in a discussion said there was no such thing as ‘clash of civilisations’ rather it was a war between economic interests of different groups across the globe. “In this materialistic world nobody fights for religion or civilisation. It is actually an economic war,” said Sher Ali Nawaz, a student of the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), at the dialogue organised by the US consulate for university students at the Peshawar Press Club.

Some 14 students from the University of Peshawar, IMS and the City University took part in a discussions for almost three months at the Lincoln’s Corner in the University.
