QUETTA: Arpanga Baryal, a grade-6 student from a private school in Quetta, secured a silver medal at the 7th Copernicus Natural Science Olympiad Global Final held in Houston, USA. Competing against participants from over 50 countries, she proudly represented Pakistan on the international stage.

Known for combining academic rigour with cultural exposure and international engagement, the Copernicus Olympiad played a key role in enhancing Arpanga’s problem-solving skills and broadening her global perspective.

Her achievement marks a significant milestone in her academic journey and highlights the immense potential of young talent from Balochistan on the world stage.

During her stay, Arpanga explored Houston’s major attractions, including the Houston Museum of Natural Science and Nasa’s Johnson Space Centre, enriching her experience beyond the academic competition.
