QUETTA: An agricultural exhibition will be held in Balochistan in August or September next year to showcase the province’s fruit and vegetable produce and promote value addition for international markets, the secretary of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) said on Wednesday.

Addressing a session with office-bearers and members of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shehryar Khan said TDAP was working to meet certification and food safety requirements for Balochistan’s olives, apples, onions, tomatoes and other produce to facilitate access to European and Central Asian markets.
