KABUL, June 7: Twenty-five suspected Taliban were killed in a five-day sweep of a known rebel stronghold in southern Afghanistan while five more were killed in a skirmish on Wednesday, military officials said. The 25 were killed in an operation in Uruzgan.—AFP
