OKARA, June 7: The DPO suspended police officials and ordered a power theft case against the staff officer of the DPO office. DPO office’s staff officer Sub-Inspector Muhammad Zaman was caught stealing power and police registered a case against Wapda SDO Rai Imran instead of the sub-inspector. The DPO, when came to know about the facts, directed to withdraw case against SDO and register the case against sub-inspector.

The DPO raided Hujra Shah Muqeem police station on Tuesday night and suspended SHO Abdul Rashid who was sleeping instead of performing patrol duty. Similarly, reader Muhammad Abbas of the DSP headquarters office and ASI Hashim were also suspended.
