KHAR, June 7: Political authorities have thwarted a terrorist attempt and seized four missiles planted at a foothill near the Tangai village in the Mamond subdivision, officials said on Wednesday.

The missiles had been planted to create unrest in the area, the sources said.

Bajaur Agency political agent Mohammad Fahim Wazir told Dawn the authorities were looking for people involved in planting the missiles.
