KARACHI: Pakistan Army edged Wapda 8-7 in a nail-biting final of the 15th National Women Softball Championship here at the KMC Sports Complex on Thursday.

For Army, Asia and Hina contributed two runs each while Saima, Zahida, Mubashara, and Aiman added one apiece for Army in the seven-innings thrilling contest.

Wapda fought well until the final innings, as Aye­sha and Iram scoring two runs each, and Madiha, Anila and Sidra added one run apiece.
