ABBOTTABAD, June 6: Wapda, Pakistan Steel (PS) and DHA Abbottabad (G) qualified for the round robin league of 48th Hazara Gold Cup hockey after winning their preliminary round matches played on Tuesday at Abbottabad Hockey Stadium.

Ten teams are placed in two pools. Pool ‘A’ consists of Police, POF Wah, Wapda, Pakistan Steel and Abbottabad (G) while pool ‘B’ comprises KESC, PAF, Army, Navy and PTV.

PS drubbed Abbottabad (White) 5-0, Abbottabad (G) beat DHA Mardan/Peshwar 3-1, Wapda crushed DHA Haripur 13-0.
