SHIKARPUR, June 4: A bandit identified as Anwar alias Annu Shar was gunned down by police near Naushahro Abro, Garhi Yasin taluka, on Sunday. The police encircled the village on the information that Annu along with his four accomplices was present in a house in the village.

The encounter took place in which Annu Shar died while four of his accomplices escaped.
