LAHORE: Over 121 learners received 133 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards for exceptional performance in Punjab on Friday.

The award ceremony was held at a private hotel to celebrate the achievements of secondary school learners in the June 2025 Cambridge examination series. Over 121 learners received 133 awards for exceptional performance in Cambridge IGCSE, O-Level and International AS & A-Level examinations, including 38 learners who achieved the highest marks in the world and 35 learners who attained the highest marks in Punjab in a single subject.

This year, 317 students from across Pakistan received 355 awards for performances in Cambridge IGCSE, O-Level and International AS & A-Level examinations with 83 learners receiving Top in World awards, 63 Top in Country awards and 11 High Achievement Awards.

The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards programme celebrates the success of learners taking examinations awarded by Cambridge in over 40 countries around the world. Cambridge qualifications prepare and equip learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to thrive at university and beyond. They are recognised and valued by leading universities worldwide.

Cambridge International’s Country Director for Pakistan Uzma Yousuf said., “every year, we are inspired by the dedication, resilience, and talent of our learners across Pakistan. These outstanding results are a reflection not only of their hard work, but also of the unwavering support from their teachers, schools, and families.”

She said as the world continues to evolve — driven by innovation, technology, and new ways of learning — these learners stood as proof that strong foundations in education.
