ABBOTTABAD, June 2: The posts of chairman and secretary of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Abbottabad, have been lying vacant for long. In the absence of the two officials, the whole responsibility shifts to the controller of examination.

A few days ago, an ad-hoc arrangement was made by the education department and the additional charge of chairman of the board was given to the EDO education but the orders were later withdrawn.

Parents, students, teachers associations and other organisations have demanded of the government to immediately fill the vacant posts.—Correspondent
