KARACHI, June 2: Six ships carrying general cargo, containers and to load ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Eric G. Gibson, Orient Independence to unload and load containers, Stolt Tenacity, to offload oil, B.India to offload fertiliser and African Slanderling, to offload and load general cargo, were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Iran Kordestan, Thor Captain, Hyundai Advance, Y.M. Energy, Inaba and Bonasia, while Al-Fatah, Tessos-N, African Sanderling, MOL Kauri and Stolt Tenacity are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 72,203 tons comprising 19,325 tons of export cargo and 52,876 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Oriental Tulip, to load 2,600 tons ethanol, Corin Thaikos, Yang Jiang He, to unload and load containers, Fu Yu Shan, to offload general cargo and Feyza, with steel coils.
