Israeli military admits opening fire in Gaza, says it spotted several people ‘crossing yellow line’
After reports of Israeli fire wounding two Palestinians in Gaza’s Khan Younis, the Israeli military has admitted its troops opened fire after “several suspects were spotted crossing the yellow line and approaching IDF troops in northern Gaza”.
“After multiple attempts to distance them, the suspects refused to comply, prompting troops to open fire to remove the threat,” the military claimed in a statement on X.
It urged Gaza residents to “follow instructions and keep their distance” from Israeli troops.
