LONDON, May 31: London white sugar futures eased on light speculative selling and spread activity on Wednesday, and traders said they expected raw sugar futures to open up to 0.10 cents per lb lower.
Benchmark August was down 90 cents to $452.10 per ton in volume of 454 lots at 1136 GMT, having moved from $452.80 to $451.00.
October was down $2.40 to $441.60 per ton in volume of 274 lots, after trading from $443.00 to $441.60.—Reuters
