SWABI: Soldier’s body brought from Siachen

SWABI, May 30: The body of a soldier who had gone missing in Siachen in the second week of February was brought to his native town Maneri Bala and buried with military honours on Tuesday.

The body of Raham Zada was found about 100 days after his disappearance as snow started melting.

The deceased has left behind a 10-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son. He had joined the army about a decade ago.
