Australia’s PM Anthony Albanese has welcomed Trump’s proposed ceasefire deal in Gaza, calling for renewed efforts toward a two-state solution, Al Jazeera reports.

Speaking in Parliament to mark the two-year anniversary of the war, Albanese said: “It is our duty to do everything in our power to seize it.”
