At least 361 medical personnel are currently detained in Israeli prisons, Al Jazeera reports citing a statement from Gaza’s health ministry.

It said the medics had been “forcibly disappeared in detention centres, and the occupation prevents human rights organisations from monitoring their conditions”.

The little information available on their health suggests they are enduring “catastrophic conditions” and “abuse”, it added.
