FAISALABAD, May 27: A stage actress was killed and her relative injured when two armed men sprayed their car with bullets in Shalimar Town on Saturday.

Reports said Hina Sheikh, along with her aunt, was going for a morning walk when their car was stopped by two motorcyclists who opened fire, killing the actress and injuring her kin.

The police claimed that one of the suspects had been taken into custody. They attributed the incident to rivalry between the actress and prime suspect Abdul Hameed.—Staff Correspondent
