Authorities in Sargodha working on ‘war footing’ to safeguard animals amid floods: report

Authorities in Sargodha are working on a “war-footing basis” to ensure the safety of animals in flood-affected areas, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reports.

Additional Director Livestock Sargodha Dr Tanveer Ashraf Kalyar, in a statement, said, “vaccination of 152,565 animals has been completed so far.”

He added that the “only three animals have been reported dead so far.”

“Three flood relief camps have been set up in the affected areas,” he said.
