The Jalalpur Pirwala section of the motorway was partially affected by a flood flow and closed for traffic to prevent accidents, Multan Deputy Commissioner Waseem Hamid Sindhu has said.

“As soon as the water flow decreases, the affected section of the motorway will be fully functional,” he added. He issued orders for the immediate dispatch of additional machinery to the motorway.
