Water pressure decreasing in Punjab barrages: govt

Federal Minister for Water Resources Muhammad Moeen Wattoo has said the water pressure is now decreasing in Punjab’s barrages.

A statement from the Ministry of Water Resources said the prime minister is personally monitoring the flood situation.

“Very high flood at Panjand Barrage, level is gradually decreasing. Low level flood at Sulemanki in Sutlej, level is continuously decreasing,” the ministry said. It added that the water level in the Chenab from Marala to Trimmu was normal.
