Exceptionally high flood registered at Panjnad: FFD

The Flood Forecasting Divison (FFD) recorded an exceptionally high flood at Panjnad, where the Ravi, Chenab, Jhelum and Sutlej rivers converge and flow into the Indus.

According to the FFD’s data, 658,845 cusecs of water have been flowing through Panjnad since 5pm. This water is rushing downstream to the Guddu Barrage (475,970 cusecs) in Sindh.
