Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari, while addressing the media today, has stated that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the removal of the Assistant Commissioner of Jalalpur Pirwala due to negligence in rescue activities.

She added that the “decision has been taken following the capsizing of a rescue boat in the city.”
