‘Exceptionally high flood’ to continue at Ganda Singh Wala as India releases more water: PDMA
The Ganda Singh Wala headwork on the river Sutlej will continue to be in an “exceptionally high” flood after India alerted Pakistan of releasing more flood water, according to PDMA.
PDMA warned that on the river Chenab, a “very high” flood is expected to persist at Panjnad headworks for the next 24 hours.
According to the PDMA advisory, the nullahs of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur may experience flash flooding from Sept 8 to Sept 10.
