At least four people have drowned as a boat capsized in the Chenab River in the Jalalpur Pirwala area of Punjab’s Multan district amid a flood evacuation, according to officials.

Multan District Government Spokesperson Wasim Yousuf told Dawn.com: “Three children and a woman died after a Rescue 1122 boat capsized in the Chenab River in Jalalpur Pirwala.”
