A deluge of around 800,000 cusecs is expected to pass through Multan between midnight on Monday and Tuesday, Commissioner Multan Amir Karim Khan has said, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

Khan said that breaching will be carried out at Sher Shah and Head Mohammed Wala. He added that efforts are underway to evacuate people stranded in low-lying areas.
