Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the country is currently experiencing “unprecedented” rainfall and cloudbursts, which have resulted in massive devastation.

While speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit, being held in the northern Chinese city of Tianjin, PM Shehbaz thanked the international community, particularly China, for their “support, solidarity and sympathy”.

The premier lauded the resilience and bravery of those engaged in rescue efforts.
