The stranded wife of an imam in Wazirabad was rescued, following which she delivered a baby, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said.

“The wife of the Imam of Nawankot Mosque, Wazirabad, was stranded in the flood-affected area. Upon receiving a call at the Control Room, she was immediately rescued and shifted to the RHC through Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic, where she safely delivered a baby,” the CM wrote on X.
