Faisalabad District Emergency Officer Ehtesham Wahla has said that 44 people, including women and children, trapped in the flood, were relocated to a safe place, according to a statement by the Rescue 1122.

“Along with humans, 38 different animals were also rescued and shifted to safe places,” a statement quoted him as saying. He added that more than 100 rescue personnel and volunteers are participating in relief activities.
