Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government stands firmly with all flood victims, state media Radio Pakistan reported.

“The government is mobilising all available resources to address the challenges faced by the flood-affected people,” he said, according to a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.

He commended the decision by the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) employees to donate one day’s salary to support the flood victims, the report added.
