No place where we cannot deliver aid: Azma Bokhari
The Punjab information minister stated that according to the provincial government’s preparations, personnel from every institution are on the ground and aid is being delivered.
“According to a report from two hours ago, 1.46 million people have been affected, with 1,372 relief camps set up,” Bokhari said, adding that 6,656 people have received medical treatment.
The minister said she had information that between 17 and 20 people were killed.
“There is no place where we have not delivered aid,” she added. “We were prepared, instructions and plans were issued during the chief minister’s meeting yesterday. Had we not prepared, the damage would have been unimaginable.”
