The NDMA has warned that water flow in the Trimmu Barrage on the Chenab River could reach between 700,000 and 800,000 cusecs by 4pm on August 31, raising concerns about a “severe flood situation”.

“The potential severe flood situation is likely to affect Jhang and its adjacent areas,” the NDMA wrote in a post on X.
