KARACHI, May 19: Secretary of Pakistan Sailing Federation Syed Vaqar Hasan has resigned from his post because of personal reasons, it was learnt on Friday.

Vaqar, a former Asian championship silver medalist, took over the secretary in June 2005. Another former international sailor Cdr. Javed Rasool has been appointed as the acting PSAF secretary.—APP
