Human rights body Euro-Med Monitor says Israel has killed “around one Palestinian athlete per day and destroyed nearly every sports facility in Gaza” since October 2023.

“Yet FIFA and UEFA have refused to suspend Israel or take action, a response they had no hesitation applying to other countries,” it added.
