ISLAMABAD, May 16: The Election Commission would prepare new electoral rolls for the upcoming general elections and discard the voter lists it compiled in 2001-02, a source told this correspondent on Tuesday.

The new electoral roll will be prepared through a campaign requiring enumerators to make house to house visits in the four provinces.

The new electoral rolls will also be used for the next local bodies elections.
