DERA GHAZI KHAN: Rajanpur police claim that seven alleged gangsters have surrendered in the Katcha Jamal area as part of an ongoing crackdown.

The surrendered outlaws are members of the notorious Tariq Kajla Umrani gang and include Tariq, Abu Bakar, Abdul Rehman, Ziaur Rehman, Hakeem, Shafi and Hanif.

They were wanted in connection with dozens of serious criminal cases.

It merits mentioning that two months ago, five other gangsters had also surrendered to Rajanpur police following a successful operation in the same area.

DPO Farooq Amjad said the police are utilising all available resources to restore peace in the Katcha (riverine) region. He said effective strategy by the police have compelled these criminals to surrender.
