Shahzaib Sohail filed an application under Section 22-A and B of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) through his counsel Abdul Ahad Khan and sought court’s direction to the respondent Gizri SHO and SP Complaint Cell to record the applicant’s statement under Section 154 of the CrPC and register a case against unknown persons.
After preliminary hearing, the additional district and sessions judge (South) directed the SP complaint cell to submit a report and fixed the matter for hearing on July 16.
The applicant submitted in court that the actor’s corpse was found on July 8 in her apartment in DHA Phase-VI by the police in a “suspicious, abrupt and mysterious manner.”
While mentioning videos circulating on social medial, lawyer Ahad Khan added that it was reported that the body was lying in the apartment for several months.
