Young officers urged to improve service delivery

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has urged young civil servants to play their role in strengthening good governance, transparency and improving public service delivery.

Speaking to newly-inducted officers on Thursday, the chief minister termed the new officers dynamic and effective part of the state machinery.

The chief minister emphasised the importance of honesty, sincerity and strong sense of public duty among the young officers.

He urged them to see their authority not as a symbol of power but as a tool for public service.

“A capable administrator is known by their integrity, prompt response, and sincere efforts in solving public problems,” he said.

Mr Bugti stressed the need for institutional harmony and a shared vision to steer Balochistan away from chronic challenges and towards a path of peace, stability, and development.
