KARACHI, May 13: Five ships, including a rice loader and one with soyabean meal consignment, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Nord Woge, Jin Bao, to unload and load containers and general cargo, S. Kala, to offload imported cement, and Stolt Alliance, to offload palm oil, were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships which departed included Calvin P Titus, Patriot-R, Envo Vager, Precious and Yellow Knife, while Nord Woge, Khalijia-2, Hanjin Busan, Shalamar and Stolt Avenir are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 65,630 tons comprising 24,986 tons of export cargo and 40,644 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are

due on Sunday: Tower Bridge, Fu He, with containers, Golina, to load 4,150 tons of rice, Badulu Valley, with soyabean meal,

and Oram Glory, to load ethanol.

The following ships are due on Monday: Pacific Sun-2, with 18,000 tons of sugar, Corin Thaikos, Iran Shahryar, MOL Accord and Maersk Alabama, with containers, and Ocean Seraya, with coal.
