Qatar’s prime minister has called for the US and Iran to return to nuclear talks, a day after Tehran targeted a US military base in the Gulf state, AFP reports.

“We urge the American and Iranian sides to return immediately to the negotiating table regarding the nuclear talks and resume talks to reach a diplomatic solution,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani told a press conference.
