The political bureau of Yemen’s Houthi rebels has condemned the “cowardly” US attack on Iran and its nuclear facilities, calling it a flagrant violation of international laws, Al Jazeera reports.

In a statement, the group said the strike poses a direct threat to both regional and global peace and security.

The attack, it said, is part of the United States’ “unlimited criminalsupport” for Israel and comes in retaliation for Iran’s firm stance insupport of the “Palestinian cause and resistance movements”.

The group added that such aggression will not deter Iran from continuing its “path of resistance” against both the US and Israel.
