US Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari has said that US President Donald Trump “illegally took military action” against Iran.

“Donald Trump illegally took military action against Iran—without congressional authorisation—risking dragging us into another endless war,” Ansari said.

She said that she was calling for an immediate emergency session of Congress to vote on the War Powers Resolution.
