Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the Muslim Ummah faces multiple challenges, which require a “resolute and determined” response.
Addressing the 51st Council of Foreign Ministers session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, he said that the summit is taking place at a “very crucial time, against the backdrop of unprecedented challenges being faced by the Muslim Ummah”.
“Millions continue to be subjected to unprecedented suffering …several OIC member states are witnessing blatant armed aggression …armed conflict or foreign occupation, from Palestine to Jammu andKashmir,” he stated.
“The need for a … resolute and determined response to these challenges by the Ummah has never been more acute.”
