Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has accused Iran’s Revolutionary Guards of trying to attack Israeli citizens in Cyprus, Reuters reports.

In a post on X, Saar said the attack was thwarted, “thanks to theactivity of the Cypriot security authorities, in cooperation withIsraeli security services.”

Saar gave no details about the nature of the attack.

There was no immediate comment from Iran.
